One of North Carolina's largest privately owned and operated markets, Piedmont Farmers Market has been serving the public since 1984.

The market was created to serve the community by providing locally grown, fresh, high-quality produce and products, and to provide an economic outlet for local farmers, producers, and artisans in Cabarrus and surrounding counties of North Carolina’s piedmont. By supporting your local farmer you also support your local economy, local  green space, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Fresh from the farm... Patrons who visit our market have an interest in: eating healthier foods & naturally grown products; and in the preservation of farmland for its importance to the vitality of the environment & water supply.
